Here’s an entry for Cee’s Sunday Stills: Circles. I took these photos at the Maritime Museum in Houston. A couple of old time navigational instruments. Thank goodness we don’t have to fiddle around with this kind of stuff anymore. 😉

These are beautiful 🙂
Thank you. I really liked them too. I like to see things made for their beauty as well as their function. I think that’s why I love the sailing ships so much. 🙂
Your instruments are so interesting to look at and seem foreign to me.
By the way, this challenge is not mine. IT is Ed’s from Sunday Stills blog. Here is his post.

Thanks Cee. At this point, these things are foreign to me too. 😉
We don’t really use many of these instruments much any more and the pictures were of some pretty old ones from the Houston Maritime Museum.
You live a life of amazement to me. It seems magical.
Thanks for saying that. To me it’s pretty much just work, work, work. I guess I do get more vacation time than most but I still don’t get to travel nearly as much as I’d like to. I have too much business to take care of at home.
I adore anything to do with water. I love to be in the water or on a boat or ship. Not a big cruise that isn’t water….it’s a city. 🙂
I love it too, and I agree with you about the big criuse ships, tho I’ve still never been on one myself. I think I ought to try it just to see.
