Ziplist Sous Chef Recipe Clipper – Crock-Pot Apple Pie Moonshine.
Woo-hoo! OK, I have to get a crock pot now! This is one recipe that looks like it’ll be worth it. It’ll have to wait til I get home, but hey, worth a wait.
Or maybe I can start it before I leave and it’ll be almost ready by the time I get back?
If you try it before I get to it. let me know how it goes. 😉
Have a crock pot and would start a batch in the morning. Everclear is not available in Washington State so that will be a problem.
too bad towertodd. I wonder if it would work as well with some other white liqour like vodka or rum? there is 151 rum that is close to the strength of everclear. Do they have it in Oregon? I know lots of people used to cross the border to shop when I was in the shipyard up there. I can’t remember which way they went tho. That was a long time ago.
They DO sell everclear in Oregon, but I just live over the bridge, so it’s not a problem to do so. They also sell already made apple pie moonshine in the stores now, but it tastes terrible.
I got a buzz just reading the recipe!
LOL! It sounds like fun doesn’t it!

Whenever I have a party I always fill up a crockpot full of water and stuff it with Boars Head Cocktail Franks. People love them and always leave the pot empty.
I don’t think I’ve ever personally had a crock pot. I’ll have to get one to make this recipe. So far I haven’t done it. 🙁
I do like your idea about the cocktail franks. I was thinking next party I might try to make that beer-cheese spread I saw the other day online (and blogged about it).
I do like to cook, but with just me to cook for now it’s hard to do without wasting tons of food. I don’t get to experiment as much as I’d like to.
