My regular computer is in the shop. Still!
I have all my pictures on there and also my photo editing software. I haven’t been able to do any work on my photos because of that. I have thousands and thousands of photos on that computer and at least a few hundred of them have already been edited.
It’s a lot of work to fix them up the way I’d like them to look (and I don’t really do much to them). I was so upset when those hackers stole my photos and blackmailed me over them. I called the police and even the FBI. The police said they couldn’t help and the FBI wasn’t even nice enough to TRY- or to tell me that they just weren’t interested. I couldn’t figure out how to get the money to the bastards in time so I just had to get over losing almost my entire trip to Nicaragua. Thousands of fantastic photos- gone forever! 🙁
Thank god they only corrupted my thumb drive! If they had got everything on my computer I think I would have done something really stupid like throw the computer against the wall and then light it on fire! How could someone NOT be frustrated and MAD AS HELL?
I was going to work on uploading to the internet this week since I’m still not working. I hope they’ll finish with my computer tomorrow!
I have a feeling it’s going to take me a while to get everything back in order. They had to put in a new (larger) hard drive and move everything over. I just hope everything is still THERE.
I hope you get your computer back and it is better than before. There’s a special place where people that hack other’s things should go. Karma will bite them in the end.

Been wanting to meet you since Becky told me about you. Still do. But in the meantime if you have electronic problems, IPhones, computers, tablets . . You may want to try Gadget Guys in Lake Jackson. They are in the Food King Ares by bypass 288 and Oyster Creek drive. Had hubby ‘s iPhone in a year ago and then again last week. Fixed both times. Small ($5-$10) first time and nothing this time. Maybe five minutes each time. Loose wire this time. They know what they are doing, reasonable, quick, no “sending off” and waiting for it to come back and added cost of shipping. At least stop by there sometime and see what they do. Shop is small so you have to park and look for it towards the corner of the shopping center.

Yes, I remember you and when I talked to Becky last week she mentioned you again.
Are you feeling any better? I remember there was one time I was able to come visit but you had a lot of stuff going on at the time so it didn’t work out.
I’ve been out of work since Sept so I have more time available now, but still no schedule since they could call me out to work at any time.
Thanks for the heads up on the computer shop. I’ve been taking mine to Quick IT on parking way for years. They do good work and they’re pretty cheap.
I should be able to pick it up this afternoon. In the meantime, the MAIN problem I’m having is with my blog and that is some sort of software issue. Some problem with the links, etc that I apparently don’t have set up right. I need to talk to someone who knows a lot about WordPress, MailChimp, Hostgater, and how to set up blogs. I was talking to a guy here local, but I haven’t been able to reach him lately. Now that I have some time to meet him, it seems he is unavailable. 🙁
